{"id":44194,"date":"2021-08-18T06:00:09","date_gmt":"2021-08-18T05:00:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cavazzawine.com\/?p=44194"},"modified":"2021-09-14T10:23:03","modified_gmt":"2021-09-14T09:23:03","slug":"the-viwine-festival-in-vicenza-is-back-and-cavazza-wines-are-waiting-for-you","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cavazzawine.com\/en\/2021\/08\/18\/the-viwine-festival-in-vicenza-is-back-and-cavazza-wines-are-waiting-for-you\/","title":{"rendered":"The ViWine Festival in Vicenza is back and Cavazza wines are waiting for you"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row css_animation=&#8221;&#8221; row_type=&#8221;row&#8221; use_row_as_full_screen_section=&#8221;no&#8221; type=&#8221;full_width&#8221; angled_section=&#8221;no&#8221; text_align=&#8221;left&#8221; background_image_as_pattern=&#8221;without_pattern&#8221;][vc_column][vc_column_text]<em>by Elisa Cavazza<\/em>[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_single_image image=&#8221;44219&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221; qode_css_animation=&#8221;&#8221;][vc_empty_space][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h3>After the cancellation of the 2020 edition of the festival due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the old town centre of Vicenza will once again host the ViWine Festival and the Cavazza Winery will be there to welcome all the wine lovers who will participate.<\/h3>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]Life in the Vicenza area is slowly returning to normal: proof of this being the announcement of the official dates for the second edition of the <a href=\"https:\/\/viwinefestival.it\/\"><strong>ViWine Festival<\/strong><\/a><strong>.<\/strong> The hugely successful open-air event launched in 2019 attracted many visitors, but unfortunately the organisers were forced to cancel the 2020 edition due to the health crisis caused by Covid-19. 15,000 visitors attended the first festival and, thanks to the collaboration between <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coldiretti.it\/\">Coldiretti<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.univi.it\/\">Fondazione Studi Universitari di Vicenza<\/a>, they were able to participate in interesting trainings on issues such as the outlook for the wine sector and new technologies used in wine production.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]However, this year, <strong>on 24, 25 and 26 September, <\/strong>wine aficionados of the Veneto region and surrounding areas will return to the squares in Vicenza (Piazza dei Signori, Piazza Biade, Piazza della Erbe and Loggia del Capitaniato) to taste the wines of the Colli Berici territory, paired with dishes and products made following local traditions.<\/p>\n<p>This is the first \u2013 and only \u2013 official wine event to be organised in the city and that is why Cavazza is there to support the initiative. Most importantly, we are there to finally meet wine lovers and allow them to <strong>taste <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cavazzawineshop.it\/en\/\"><strong>our wines<\/strong><\/a><strong> in a more convivial, social and relaxed atmosphere<\/strong>. Among our proposals you will find a selection of our wines made with native grape varieties, including: <strong>Durello, Gambellara Classico, Tai Rosso and some products from the Cicogna estate line.<\/strong>[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]Wine enthusiasts, people who are curious about wine and wineries will once again fill the streets of our beloved city.
