Walnut and cream cake

Ingredients for the dough

6 eggs

350 grams of sugar

pinch of salt

250 grams of chopped walnuts

160 grams of “00” flour

250 grams of butter

yeast packet

 Preparation

Whisk eggs, sugar and salt and mix. Add melted butter. Mix flour and yeast together, with the walnuts and then combine with the egg and the butter mixture. Pour into a cake pan, lined with wax paper, and cook at 160 degrees Celsius, for one hour.

Ingredients for the cream

5 egg yolks

125 grams of sugar

½ liter of milk

40 grams of rice starch and 40 grams of cornstarch (or 80 grams of flour)

1 vanilla bean

dash of salt
